About NOTA
Since NOTA's inception in 1996, interest in faster and more economical ways to conduct drug testing has exploded. The technology of on-site testing has progressed to the point where it is highly accurate and reliable. This has given employers and other organizations that drug test a significant option when considering how to maintain a drug-free environment.
NOTA has been as the forefront of this revolution. Representing virtually all of the major manufacturers of on-site testing products, NOTA is uniquely positioned to serve industry as the definitive source of accurate and timely information about on-site testing law and technology.
Mission Statement
The National On-site Testing Association (NOTA) is a coalition of businesses and business organizations dedicated to serving industry as an advocacy and resource center for on-site drug and alcohol testing. NOTA's purpose is to protect employers' rights to ensure the safety and health of their employees through the utilization of the latest technologies available for the detection of substance abuse in the workplace

LOBBYING - NOTA works with local lawmakers at both the state and federal levels.
MODEL ON-SITE TESTING ACT - NOTA has developed model legislation that is suitable for adaptation by virtually any state legislature.
NEW LEGISLATION - NOTA works with legislators to draft bills specific to their state's needs.
NOTA LIBRARY - NOTA maintains an up-to-date cache of valuable resource materials for on-site testing.
INFORMATIONAL DOCUMENTS -NOTA has developed original editorial pieces suitable for multiple adaptations.
RESEARCH - NOTA will conduct new research projects relative to legal and technological issues.
NEWS - NOTA keeps its members informed in a timely manner.
LEGAL UPDATES - NOTA specializes in tracking, monitoring and reporting on legal developments related to on-site testing.
GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS ADVISORIES - When the federal government moves in any direction relative to on-site testing, NOTA informs its members and advises on how to respond.
BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES - NOTA routinely receives inquiries about on-site testing products and services. Such requests for information are promptly distributed to NOTA members for follow-up contact.

Are entitled to legal consulting services ($165.00/Hr).
Have access to the NOTA library at a reduced fee.
Receive THE NOTA NEWS monthly.
Can purchase a regular membership for their customers for $175.00/yr.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
